Presentation of the Croatian Green Party

The Croatian Green Party was established on 14 May 1996 in Zagreb. The party is nicknamed "The Greens" (Zelezni) there are several parties in Croatia claiming this short name, but none of them has reached any bigger popularity, so the issue of precedence have not raised yet.

Flag of the Croatian Green Party

The flag of the Croatian Green Party is prescribed in the party's statutes (text) as green with a white rhombus containing the party's emblem. The emblem consists of a downpointing triangle with a checky field (9 squares) and an oak growing from it. To its left is the name of the party and to the right is the year "1996".
